Within IT, the IT Strategy Realization (ITSR) team’s purpose is to lead value-driven outcomes and accelerate how we transform IT. ITSR does this by delivering on six core capabilities: IT Strategy, IT Value Management, IT Product Management, IT Talent Enablement, IT Communications & Change Management, and IT Continuous Improvement.

As the Communications and Change Management Lead for the Business of IT program you will play a critical role in accelerating IT’s transformation through the development and execution of a strategic communications plan, leveraging best in class organizational change management frameworks and driving integrated program initiatives, ensuring stakeholder needs are at the forefront of value delivery at scale. This role will support the Business of IT program and the IT Value Management value team and report to the Executive Director of IT Communications and Change Management.

Communications Lead

+ Develop and implement communications strategies for the Business of IT program, in partnership with Enterprise Architecture, Finance and other key stakeholders

+ Develop and maintain an integrated view of planned communications across the Business of IT workstreams to ensure synchronicity and coordination

+ Develop and maintain a framework for monitoring the success of communications efforts

+ Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to develop communications, messaging and presentations for diverse audiences across multiple channels

+ Leverage the communications community of practice to socialize key messages for the organization

Change Management Lead

+ Assess the impact of Business of IT initiatives on people, processes and systems and develop change management strategies to address potential resistance and drive adoption of new ways of working

+ Establish and maintain a consolidated view of change initiatives across the value team

+ Leverage change management frameworks, including self service tools, stakeholder assessments, change impacts, readiness assessments, training plans and external thought leadership to support organizational change and value realization

Strategy and Execution Focus

+ Work closely with IT Value Management value team lead and Business of IT Director to ensure strategic alignment and promote consistent communication and understanding of key program initiatives and core capabilities

+ Partner with program enablement team to ensure effective operating rhythm across the BIT program and identify areas for improvement

+ Develop and sustain cross-functional stakeholder relationships to monitor the implementation of critical strategic initiatives, ensure alignment, drive continuous prioritization, and support risk management as needed

Required Skills:

+ Expertise in business communications and organizational change management

+ Personal accountability, autonomy, leadership, teaming, and organizational skills

+ Balance operational and strategic priorities in a fast-paced environment, with multiple stakeholders and levels of leadership

+ Tailor and deliver communications for specific audiences demonstrating a deep understanding of stakeholder needs

+ Understand core capabilities and strong grasp of ITSR purpose

Education Requirements:

+ Required: Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, communications, computer science, information technology, management information systems or related discipline

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
