Job Description
Aerotek is hiring mutiple Machine operators for a manufacturing facility in Seaford Delaware . We are looking for candidates with experince as press brake operator and a someone to work on their plasma/laser machine. Every product manufactured is speciality and not made in mass quanitities
(1) Press brake: 1st or 2nd shift
+ prepares, sets up, and adjusts press brake to shape steel accordingly
+ measures and aligns materials based on the specific product order
+ lifting up to 50+lbs of material
+ ensure that materials are not damaged
Machine Operators 1 on 1st 1 on 2nd
+ need strong measuring /tape measurer skills down to a 1/16
+ will mostly be using the band saw but will potentially get put the plasma/laser or lathe or any other machines so need to be flexible
+ basic math and measuring skills needed to fabricate the materials
+ following blueprints
+ engraving and cutting of materials
+ attention to detail
Both positions may also require candidates to work in the rebar area of the shop or other areas of the business as needed. In the rebar area they are cutting, measuring, and twisting rebar based on client orders.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
+ Candidates can come from different backgrounds, but steel is preferred.
+ Must have some experience working as a machine operator in any capacity (not someone who has only forklift experience)
+ Steel toe shoes
