Five Star Senior Living is actively seeking a Food Services Supervisor. As the Food Services Supervisor, you will supervise food service for residents, team members, and visitors. You will review menus and supervise the handling, preparation and storage of food. You will also oversee equipment maintenance and kitchen sanitation and assign work schedules.
What You'll Do
Assess and Execute
Responsible for enhancing the food product that is presented to residents.
Make changes that respond to the resident's needs.
Recommend changes to the food product.
Responsible for maintaining quality of food product and ensuring consistency in food delivery and standards. Control the elements that determine profit and loss and make decisions that relate to profit and loss.
Oversee divisional matters as they relate to federal, State and local employment and civil rights laws.
What You'll Bring
Experience & Education
Associates degree or higher education preferred.
Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses, certificates, or permits.
Success as a supervisor in the food and beverage industry, within Senior Living preferred.
