BAYADA Home Health Carehas an immediate opening for a Registered Nurse executive to fill the role ofDivision Director of Clinical Operationsin our Assistive Care (AC) and Assistive Care State Programs (ACSP) practices. This position requires an RN with senior level experience in clinical program development, care service delivery, and outcomes focused clinical excellence. Prior home care experience with home health aide/personal care services for senior clients is strongly preferred. TheBAYADA Assistive Care & Assistive Care State Programs practices provide personal care and companionship for adults and seniors including assistance with activities of daily living, self-care, and household support services. As Division Director of Clinical Operations, you will work closely and collaboratively with the Practice President, Regional Directors, and other clinical and operational leaders to oversee clinical leadership, define standards, and drive execution of high-quality care in accordance with the mission of BAYADA Home Health Care and the standards of regulatory and accrediting organizations. The Division Director of Clinical Operations will interface with the Chief Clinical Officer, Chief Nursing Officer and Clinical Standards and Leadership office to define clinical processes and provide effective clinical strategies to promote exceptional outcomes and continued growth for 100+ offices across 14 states.
This position will require regular, on-going travel (approximately 50%.)
Key Responsibilities:
Service Delivery Oversight:
+ Manage and oversee the consistent delivery of high-quality personal care services provided by home health aides to 8,000+ seniors in their homes.
Leadership and Mentoring:
+ Lead and mentor a team of clinicians, providing guidance in decision-making based on state regulations, policies, and best practices.
+ Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and professional development within the clinical team.
Policy Development and EMR Evolution:
+ Collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer to develop policies that enhance the quality of care and align with industry standards.
+ Support the evolution of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to improve efficiency and enhance patient care.
Technology and Innovation:
+ Demonstrate a passion for evolving with technology and leveraging data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
+ Explore and implement innovative care models based on clinical outcomes and advancements in the healthcare field.
Program Development and Execution:
+ Develop and oversee programs that enhance the overall quality of care provided to seniors.
+ Support the execution of these programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration and Communication:
+ Collaborate with senior leadership to align strategic objectives and ensure the organization’s mission is upheld.
+ Work across multiple service lines, including home health and hospice, to streamline processes and improve interdisciplinary collaboration.
Diversity and Population Understanding:
+ Understand and address the diverse needs of the population served. Ensure that care models are culturally competent and inclusive.
Risk Management:
+ Balance innovation with risk-based assessments, ensuring that new initiatives align with regulatory standards and mitigate potential risks.
Qualifications:
+ RN, BSN; Master’s degree preferred but not required.
+ 10 + years management experience in Home Care and/or Home Health with knowledge of Operational and Clinical Support Leadership roles.
+ Strong background in home care and personal care services delivery, with a deep understanding of senior healthcare needs.
+ Proven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a diverse team of clinicians.
+ Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior leadership and understand the unique challenges of home health aides in the community.
+ Familiarity with state regulations, policies, and industry best practices.
+ Passion for technology and innovation in healthcare, with experience in EMR systems and data-driven decision-making.
+ Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and quality of care.
+ Experience in clinical compliance and quality programs.
+ Strategic and innovative problem solver who sees the big picture and works with a positive attitude.
