The Innovation and Development Division (IDD) drives the innovation strategy for the Hubs and Operations, and contributes to the Group's transformation. It is responsible for imagining, developing and incubating new solutions until they are brought to market, particularly when it comes to offers with a high technological content (including digital and IT). IDD gathers more than 3,000 employees from 70 nationalities at 60 sites. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? The Spinneret Technician provides mechanical support for the fiber production processes. The Spinneret Technician's primary responsibilities will be to provide day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, cleaning, and alignment for all spinneret equipment used in the production areas. Working closely with the Spinneret Specialist and Engineering Team, the ideal candidate will develop technical expertise in all areas pertaining to equipment directly or indirectly used in the MEDAL and IMS legacy spinning areas. Duties and Responsibilities Serve as a safety role model; promote a high level of safety awareness; adhere to and support the continuous improvement of all safety practices / procedures. Monitor work areas for unsafe conditions. Maintain good housekeeping standards in the spinneret lab and other areas where working. Participate in routine safety reviews (HazOps, PHAs, PSSRs, etc.) and promptly address any findings. Complete all assigned safety training. Proactively identify and address unsafe conditions in assigned work areas. Participate in the Behavioral Safety Program. Monitor and troubleshoot: evaluate status of spinning related equipment in the production areas, work with operators to monitor and track spinneret issues. Review mechanical design. Suggest and implement improvements and work with vendors on maintaining proper stock of critical spinning supplies Assist with training and education of operators for spinneret cleaning and assembly Investigate spinning process problems: work with engineering specialist to gather information, consult with appropriate resources, and ultimately propose and implement improvements. Provide updates on spineret turnaround time and quality to process engineers and Product Platform Managers. Analyze and repair spinning finishing pumps. Aid in implementation, startup, and validation of new spinning process equipment to increase production rates in fiber manufacturing. Work closely with the Operations Team to ensure a safe, efficient and smooth operation of the production processes. Assist with efforts to transition product development activities to full scale commercial operation. Interact and work effectively with all groups throughout the organization: Advanced Technology Solutions (ATS), Operations, Maintenance, Project Management, Quality, R&D, Sales, etc. Other related duties as assigned.__________________Are you a MATCH?
