Senior Manager, Workforce Development Program Portfolio Lead

We are hiring a Sr. Manager level associate as the overall portfolio lead for three of our Workforce Development Programs (YearUp, Catapult, and Hiring our Heroes). This individual will lead a team program managers to drive a well-managed portfolio of programs prioritizing creating exceptional associate experiences and deep strategic relationships with business partners. This individual will work closely with leaders in our businesses, External Affairs, and our broader Talent Acquisition Organization as we collectively push Capital One's DIB Agenda forward.

Core responsibilities will vary but may include:

Serve as a people leader for a team of 4 (3 direct reports), empowering and inspiring them to deliver their best work each day, establishing a team environment where each team member feels included and valued, and managing all talent and performance management activities

Lead the strategic direction for your portfolio of programs, which may include defining team scope and impact, strengthening partner interaction models, developing multi-year program goals, transforming the candidate and associate experience, and communicating team goals and strategic direction across the organization

Manage stakeholder relationships and influence leaders across partner groups

Determine new avenues to source talent for existing programs or pilot new programs to solve particular business needs

Consult and problem solve across the broader Workforce Development and Talent Acquisition Organization

Basic Qualifications:

At least 6 years of program management, client facing, or consulting experience, or a combination

At least 4 years of people management experience

At least 2 years of experience in Google Suite products (Sheets, Slides, Docs)

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or military experience

At least 4 years of experience in Human Resources or Human Capital Consulting

Significant experience analyzing metrics, trends, and survey data, and using them to make strategic changes
