JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Data Management role in Newark, DE.
Job Duties: Partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Capital, Liquidity and Risk. Drive provisioning of fit-for-purpose data by working with consumers to identify data requirements, and partner with Technology to create design documentations. Identify authoritative sources of data based upon data requirements for on-boarding to Corporate Finance architecture, support Product Owners in demand prioritization and grooming sessions. Facilitate resolution and oversight of the book of data quality issues and data sourcing gaps. Ensure data integrity by identifying and overseeing implementation of data quality controls within Corporate Finance applications and upstream LOB applications. Decode financial reporting requirements into functional data requirements. Identify and solve problems in areas such as business and logistics. Demonstrate Subject Matter expertise on all traditional credit products as booked into J.P. Morgan & Chase systems and be a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders. Demonstrate expert level knowledge of J.P. Morgan & Chase Firmware Data Management tooling as well as financial reporting architecture tooling. Create senior level messaging and decks to propose new data strategies for onboarding of data into Finance/Risk architecture. Represent Corporate Finance and Treasury/CIO CDO in LOB, CDO, and stakeholder forums to communication status of work, drive framing and rollout of CDO strategy, and advise on overall data health. Support the implementation of the Data Risk Management strategy focusing on Data Governance, Classification, Protection, Storage, Retention/Destruction, and Data Quality.
Education/Experience Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Data Management, Programmer Analyst, IT Consultant, or related occupation. Will also accept a Master’s degree and three (3) years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree with five (5) years of experience.
Minimum skills required: Requires experience in the following: Light VBA; SQL; Tableau; SAP; Business Object; Axiom; CCAR; Basel Advanced and Standardized; Pillar 3; FFIEC 009; FR Y-15 Reporting; Cash; Collateral; and Loans and Deposits.
