ChristianaCare Vascular Interventional Radiology is looking for a Medical Assistant.
Vascular Interventional Radiology is the minimally invasive, image-guided treatment for medical conditions that once required open surgery. By using the power of advanced imaging (ultrasound, X-rays, CAT scans, MRI scans and other innovative methods), vascular interventional radiologists can see inside the body and treat complex conditions-even cardiovascular disease and cancer-less invasively and with unprecedented precision.
We are a team of seven Physicians, six Advanced Practice Clinicians, two Medical Assistants and three Office Assistants.
High School Graduate or GED required.
A graduate of a recognized Medical Office Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize work.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build and foster professional relationships in a team environment.
Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred but not required.
