Job Description

Position summary:

Performs a variety of duties both technical and clerical. Major responsibilities include ensuring all vehicle loans are properly titled securing the credit union’s lien position, releasing liens when appropriate, testing is completed for all loan system updates, participating in set up of new programs, assist with required monthly reporting, process CPI, responding to credit disputes and serves as a back up to the title clerk filing and releasing liens.

Tasks:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Test upgrades and improvements to all loan operations related platforms and systems including Meridian Link and Encompass.
  • Assist in development, upgrading and maintenance of loan forms.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly loan reports
  • Proficient on e-Oscar - respond to credit disputes and submit updates to reporting history as needed.
  • Proficient on CPI - posting insurance premiums and refunds, following up for members as needed.
  • Ensures credit unions security interest is properly recorded on all vehicle loans.
  • Ensures liens are released when no longer securing credit union loan.
  • Proficient in completing e-recording for real estate releases and mortgage recording.
  • Processes and track debt protection, CPI and GAP insurance claims, communicating with the member when necessary.
  • Process claims for repossessions including CPI Repo Expense, GAP and Warranty refunds.
  • Assists the department with filing and other clerical tasks.
  • Assists members and staff with CPI, title and debt protection related questions or issues.
  • Provides quality member service to internal and external members.
  • Assists department with projects and daily responsibilities as needed.
  • Community involvement: Paid Volunteer Hours- Each eligible employee is required to have 3 hours within the current Annual Performance Review cycle. These can either be 3 concurrent hours or nonconcurrent. Unpaid Volunteer Hours- As a qualifier for the balance scorecard profit-sharing plan employees will need to complete 3 volunteer hours unpaid per year for the balance scorecard.
