Job Description

This AVP position within the Claims Architecture team provides technical leadership to the Claim system application and development teams. The candidate will be responsible for the overall technical design of core claim applications and ensuring that architecture strategy, roadmaps, standards, and best practices are followed during design and delivery. This role will also manage other technical leads and mentor delivery resources as needed. Expertise with insurance and claim processes as well as expertise in application and integration technologies is expected. Knowledge of DuckCreek Claims platforms particularly DuckCreek OnDemand Claims will be a plus.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership for the core Claims application teams; the candidate will be responsible for the overall technical design and overseeing development & support of the core Claims applications.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications; recommend solutions to meet and support business needs.
  • Deliver conceptual and high-level technical designs that align with architecture direction and meet business needs, incorporating appropriate input from various platform specialists and domain experts.
  • Lead and mentor onshore and offshore resources to analyze, design and develop software development projects focused on core claims and strategic claims applications and integrations.
  • Responsible for ensuring Chubb enterprise data policies, best practices, standards and processes are followed. Follow Chubb Architecture building permit process across the project delivery.
