JPMorgan Chase & Co. has an opening for a Software Engineer position in Wilmington, Delaware.

  

Job Duties: Design and develop software for applications, complex business logic, batch processes, Rest Services, and interfaces using Progress/OpenEdge language and its components. Perform OpenEdge DB design and implement DB schema, trigger, index, tables changes. Interact with Product team to design and develop new application features, business process re-engineering and enhancements. Perform test of the applications to ensure the stability. Create testing scenario scripts based on the user stories and Automate functional and regression test scenarios with the help of Selenium for web automation. Collaborate with team members and work in a spring team following Scrum framework adhering to agile methodology. Perform DevOps and release management activities for Continuous Deployment software deliverables in Non-Production and Production Environment. Support critical product and non-product issues identified by business/product teams.

 

Job Requirements: : This position requires a Bachelor’s in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer, System Analyst, Application Developer, IT Consultant, or related occupation. Will also accept a Master’s degree and three (3) years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree with three (3) years of experience.

 

This position requires experience in the following: OpenEdge Architect; Progress Application Server (PAS) for OE; OpenEdge DB Administration; ProTop; Promon; JIRA; SOAP UI; POSTMAN; Service Now, Rundesk and Jules for CI-CD code deployments and Erwin; Apache JMeter; and BlazeMeter.
