Responsibilities

Our Risk Management Program provides a structure and process to help the organization identify and adapt to emerging risks, evolve with industry trends and requirements, and to ensure effective risk management across Guidehouse, whereby:

+ The Company is actively identifying and managing its risks;

+ The Company is taking the right risks and the right amount of risk; and

+ The Company is appropriately monitoring and modifying, as necessary, its risk response strategy

Reporting into Guidehouse’s Enterprise Risk Management Director, the Risk Management Manager will support the broader Enterprise Risk Management Program through ongoing support of the enterprise Risk Identification and Consultation process while also serving as a subject matter expert for risks associated with Guidehouse’s Public Sector business. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

+ Reviews and monitors risk factors associated with opportunities that Guidehouse teams are pursuing

+ Communicates verbally and in writing with impacted consulting practitioners, and tracks follow-up as appropriate

+ Fields questions from consulting practitioners and provides ongoing support for Gate Review calls, Consultations, and Authority Matrix questions and next steps

+ Regularly reviews policies and procedures for updates, opportunities for improvement, and to align with Guidehouse strategic decisions

+ Provide regular reporting on risk metrics and service level agreements internally and with external stakeholders

+ Services as Public Sector risk subject matter expert for opportunities and in-flight engagements including but not limited to the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards, Federal Procurement Lifecycle, Government regulations and applicable laws

+ Conduct regularly scheduled and ad hoc reviews of in-flight projects at the discretion of the Enterprise Risk Management Program Director and/or the Chief Operating Officer

+ Develop risk training related to risk management best practices, tools, and engagement lifecycle management

+ Due Diligence – screening and clearing for new company Clients/Accounts

+ Manage Risk Management team members to include leading, directing and reviewing work products

Qualifications

+ A professional certification in compliance or risk-management is a plus

+ Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience

+ Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with leadership at project, segment, and c-suite level is a must

+ Experience with Federal Procurement cycle and working

+ Project Management experience (CAPM or PMP a plus)

+ Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations and Government Contracting

+ Strong organizational skills, including process ownership and management

+ Ability to work on time-sensitive issues and apply problem-solving skills to sometimes unfamiliar issues

+ Familiarity with ISO-9001 a plus

+ Outstanding writing skills, with the ability to adapt communications to different audiences.

+ Demonstrates tact, diplomacy, sound judgment, and the ability to work across all levels of seniority

+ Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

+ Highly motivated with a strong work ethic

Additional Requirements

This position is open to candidates virtually from Montana, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, Arizona, Hawaii or Eastern, Pacific, and Central time zones.
