We are looking for a self-motivated, hard-working, detail-oriented candidate to join our fast-paced Analytical Team. Our team provides diverse, high impact analytical support to the formulation and process teams at Incyte. Ideal candidate will have hands on experience in a variety of chromatographic techniques with Agilent and Waters instruments and software, as well as dissolution, physical-chemical property testing.
Responsible for method development and optimization of chromatographic separations for assay and dissolution methods
Responsible for the physical chemical properties testing of drug substance (particle size distribution, solubility in various media, molar extinction, hygroscopicity, thermal properties, etc.)
Responsible for in-house reference material characterization and retest
Troubleshoot and solve daily analytics problems; repair or schedule service request to resolve issues
Work closely with process chemists and formulation chemists and provide timely analytical support.
Provide summary report or development methods and communicate with internal and external labs.
Participate in the development and continuous improvement for assigned area of support.
Minimum Requirements
For Research Investigator: A PhD degree in analytical chemistry is required
For Senior Research Scientist: BSc and 5+ years or MSc and 3+ years of relevant experience is required.
Demonstrated proficiency with Waters and Agilent LC and LCMS instruments and software is essential.
Demonstrated proficiency with USP I and II dissolution is essential.
Strong verbal and personal communication skills are required.
Good organizational skills and ability to document and communicate the completed work are required.
