Chemours is seeking a Procurement Data Analyst Intern to join our Procurement team! This position will report directly to the Source to Pay Data Lead.
Chemours is in the process of upgrading its ERP system (SAP). As a Procurement Data Analyst Intern you will be immersed in data supporting the Procurement processes with a goal to improve the data quality leading to better insights. To do this, you will partner with Procurement Operations, Category Managers, Procurement Leadership team to deep dive on a variety of data elements including but not limited to Material/Product Master, Vendor Master, Material Groups etc.
Location: Wilmington, DE
Hours: Full-time schedule
Term: 4+ month assignment between August – December 2022 (Fall)
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
+ Work with the Source to Pay team to understand the data structure in SAP
+ Identify, develop and help to execute the plan to address data quality and other gaps
+ Create impactful visualizations and presentations to share insights from the data quality analysis
+ Present findings and recommendations to our Procurement Leadership Team and other Procurement team members for alignment
+ Learn to use new IT tools in order to complete the required analysis and identify the gaps
The following is required for this role:
+ Current enrollment at an accredited university as a Junior or above
+ Pursuing an undergraduate degree in preferably Supply Chain, Finance or Business
+ Strong analytics skills
+ Attention to detail in order to address data quality
+ Resourceful and able to gather information from a variety of sources to draw conclusions
+ Ability to use Data to tell a story and create impactful presentations
The following is preferred for this role:
+ 3.0 GPA or above
+ Advanced Excel Skills
+ Alteryx, PowerBI or Tableau experience is a plus
