The Sr. Manager/Associate Director, Community Relations & Social Responsibility is responsible for managing and promoting Incyte Involved Community Service Activities, Employee Volunteer Activities, and Matching Gifts programs. Will provide support to the Incyte Charitable Giving Foundation, including communications and online grants management system. Will Lead charitable activities for employees. This position will sit on and support activities related to both the Incyte Inclusion and Greencyte Committees. The position reports to the Executive Vice President, Human Resources, and Chair of the Incyte Charitable Giving Foundation.
Essential Functions of the Job
Support the Incyte Charitable Giving Foundation, including communications and online grants management system, CyberGrants.
Lead charitable activities for employees such as LLS Walk, B+ Walk, Food Bank Drives, and Salvation Army Angel Tree as examples.
Participate as a member of The Foundation Review Committee
Create quarterly committee agendas and materials for Incyte Charitable Giving Foundation
Manage CyberGrants software, budget, vendor relationship, issues management related to Foundation and Matching Gifts in the US, EU, and Canada.
Manage end to end process for charitable grants requests through to payment
Prepare materials for the year-end Foundation board meeting
Provide content to Incyte Yearbook related to Incyte Involved activities
Support requests for metrics to ESG lead for reporting purposes
Manage Foundation mailbox, reply to requests and issues with new and existing grant recipients
Manage Volunteer T-Shirt process (inventory and fulfillment)
Provide stories and updates for intranet related to Incyte Involved
Support the EVP, HR with blogs, videos, and materials including Global Town Hall topics related to Incyte Involved and in partnership with the Internal Communications lead
Own and maintain the intranet pages related to Incyte Involved
Create and maintain a repository for volunteer opportunities in the US
Mange Community Service reports, and identify stories/photos from recent employee volunteer events for use in internal and external communications
Support the EVP, HR with Incyte Inclusion Committee meeting agenda prep, slide creation, minutes posting for Global Town Halls and Inclusion Committee Meetings
Manage Inclusion Committee intranet webpage
Partner with the Communications team on both internal and externally facing Inclusion related stories for Incyte.com and social media
Bachelor's degree in communications, community relations, English, or related discipline.
A minimum of 3 - 5 years of working with non-profits or in community relations.
Proactive and results-oriented. High level of accountability and visibility in the role.
Ability to lead, manage and execute multiple priorities in a deadline-oriented and fast-paced environment.
Excellent project management skills, analyze data, and ability to prioritize.
Experience with and technical understanding of communications systems, grant management systems, and technologies used for internal communications such as PowerPoint and SharePoint.
Able to establish and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.
