Workforce Development, Job Resource Center; Split location Delaware County, PA and New Castle County, DE – plus travel stipend. 

POSITION PURPOSE

The Workforce Development Manager will be instrumental in all aspects of development, implementation and monitoring of programs related to workforce development, skills training, job readiness, and vocational evaluations which are geared towards an outcome of competitive employment in the individuals chosen field. The individual is also instrumental in all aspects of development, implementation and monitoring of programs related to job development, job placement, on-site coaching, and follow-up management, as relevant to programs supported.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

1. Follow safety policies and procedures and ensure safe-working conditions for the department(s) supervised.

2. Follow company policies and procedures.

3. Responsible for all deliverables for the Digital Skill Accelerator Program.

4. Responsible for grant deliverables.

5. Familiarity with WIOA eligibility and documentation

6. Process and submit all department invoices as funder requires.

7. Complete all internal and external reporting as required.

8. Process all Paycom submissions of any direct reports as applicable and approve all timesheets for payroll processing. Perform all necessary personnel functions of supervised staff as determined by company policies and procedures.

9. Oversee content and delivery of training programs for which you are responsible.

10. Ensure that appropriate files are maintained for all client services provided.

11. Communicate with VP of Workforce Development regarding internal and external issues related to program tactics and operations.

12. Maintain accurate statistics, data, and filing systems.

13. Assist the organization in maintaining compliance with appropriate standards and federal, state, and local regulations.

14. Effectively utilize technology to meet departmental needs.

15. Ensure maximum security and protection of company assets and client privacy.

16. Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

17. Attend meetings, training sessions and committee/team activities as required. Represent and promote workforce programming and Goodwill professionally.

18. Take the lead in recruitment for digital programming.

19. Basic hardware and software troubleshooting. Audio / Video basics for presentations.

20. Maintain inventory of program licenses, software, and hardware.

21. Perform all necessary personnel functions of supervised staff as determined by company policies and procedures.

22. Effectively utilize technology to meet departmental needs.

23. Ensure maximum security and protection of company assets.

Follow company policies and procedures and the ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
