Join our team now at Siemens Healthineers as a Senior Process Engineer
This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Senior Chemical Process Engineer you will be responsible for :
+ Working within a project team environment to design, develop, document, install, qualify, and optimize new commercial processes that will produce large scale liquid chemical reagent blends as well as pilot scale, specialty chemical reagents for use in medical diagnostic consumable devices.
+ Technical support to operations including troubleshooting complex problems, determining root cause and implementation of solutions and documentation. The position requires application of mechanical and process control design and support of automated medical diagnostic consumable device manufacturing equipment in a constantly changing fast-paced environment.
+ Working on both new design and existing machine upgrades to improve performance and efficiency in support of manufacturing expansion.
+ Providing routine off-hour process support for mechanical equipment issues, typically one week in every 12 to 13 weeks, or as required.

+ You will have a working knowledge and application of chemical engineering fundamentals including fluid dynamics, mixing, filtration, process control, materials selection and chemical compatibility, vessel design, CIP Systems, and large-scale liquid and dry chemical material addition systems, to support large batch formulation.
+ This position requires the ability to work with both new designs and existing processes within a regulated environment with validation requirements (IQ, OQ, and PQ) as well as a working knowledge of management of change principles. Ensuring safety in all designs and processes is critical, as is mandatory adherence to all aspects of the quality system.
+ The ability to plan and lead medium to large projects and deliver promised results is expected. Self-starting, troubleshooting ability, excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and prioritization skills are critical to success.
+ Project management within an Agile framework, stakeholder communication, and troubleshooting skills are key. People and Team leadership capability is desirable.
+ You have a working knowledge and application experience with Lean business systems and methodologies such as TPM, 5S, Lean 3P Design, & OEE Monitoring.
Required skills to have for the success of this role
+ BS/BA in Chemical Engineering or related discipline, or advanced degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required. Ability to read detailed designs, create P&IDs and process flow diagrams that will be documented using AutoCAD or Siemens NX is necessary.
+ Minimum 5 years experience in a Manufacturing environment.
+ Willing to travel up to 10%.
