Job Summary (Primary function)
The Analyst, Capacity Management will assist in developing and supporting a new forecasting tool in Planisware that is being developed to forecast Clinical Study costs based on based on study assumptions (enrollment, country distribution, indication, study phase, etc).

Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)
Work closely with finance and clinical study teams to forecast clinical study costs.
Import and verify actual cost information related to clinical trial activities.
Develop and support forecasting models based on activities in clinical study plans.
Work with study teams to verify assumptions and associated forecast models (enrollment, site activations, costs, etc.).
Work with various business functions to determine resource demands necessary to support activities within a clinical trial.
Develop algorithms to forecast resource demand (working with functions).
Maintain roster of employees to provide accurate headcount and resource availability numbers.
Develop and validate Capacity Management Reports (Financial and Resources).
Analyze supporting data for capacity management and portfolio level reviews.
Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)
Bachelor's Degree in business administration, finance, science or related field. Certification in Procurement (i.e. CPM, CPP, SPSM, CIPS) or Project Management (PMP)is a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the biopharmaceutical/CRO industry.
Financial and business knowledge of analysis, assumption evaluation, modelling and forecasting with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Experience in finance or related fields preferably in financial planning, budgeting, financial controlling and analysis, preferably gathered in a corporate environment.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to think creatively, strategically and tactically.
Expertise in creating or extracting information from/to excel and use of advanced formulas.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; effective in interaction cross-functionally and with various members of the study teams.
Ability to develop working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Experience sourcing (procurement from another sponsor) or building proposals (major CRO) for clinical phase 3 studies.
Experience and understanding of the Clinical Trial life cycle is a plus.
Experience with Portfolio & Project Management tools such as Planisware, MS Project Server, Smartsheets is a plus.
Experience with Business Intelligence and reporting tools such as OBIEE, Tableau, or PowerBI is a plus.
