Merchandising Supervisor - Total Wine
Leads, trains and supports the activities and operations of the Off-premise Wine & Spirits Merchandisers to drive volume and profit growth in accounts and provide support to Sales Reps and Fileld Sales Managers at Total Wine store locations.
Coordination of daily workload and bookings (align with Router). Communicate with Sales Manager and District Managers on daily bookings, staffing shortfalls, special projects, additional needs, etc.
Training (new Merchandisers and on-going development of existing Merchandisers). Conduct weekly work-withs (ride-along) with Merchandising staff (six per month). Actively recruit for merchandising workforce.
Administrative duties to include, but not limited to, verify weekly time cards, review, confirm and approve team time off, conduct Merchandising team meetings, attend Division Sales meetings, conduct employee evaluations/reviews.
Develop and maintain consistent merchandising standards. Conduct field sets for merchandising team training. Manage/maintain information for Merchandiser Comp Pool, Merchandiser GSM, incentives, etc.
POS (large) delivery and set up for thematic displays and key account planner activity.
Meet with key customers for review purposes. Prepare and present Merchandiser standards and value to key customers.
At least 2-3 years' experience in Merchandising and Off-Premise sales support role.
Must possess a High School Diploma, College preferred
Prior supervisory experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task
Ability to work in a dynamic team
Strong interpersonal professional skills
