Description/Job Summary
Great opportunity to work in Behavior/Mental Health Group Home with focus on providing person centered care/individualized medical and mental healthcare to our eight residents (4 males and 4 females) and help the residents thrive and become more independent.
RHD (Resources for Human Development) Brandywine Hills Group Home is seeking Register Nurse with an interest and understanding of individuals in Behavioral and Mental Health to join our program located in Wilmington.
Availability to work Day Shift or Weekends Preferred.
*$1500 Sign on bonus
Responsibilities/Duties
Act as part of a multidisciplinary team designed to provide services from a Person-Centered-care Treatment with respect, compassion and understanding for
Jefferson Street Group Home's 8 Residents.
Manage the ordering/delivery/storage/ administration of medications for the persons served in accordance with the specific program services provided.
Provide education to both residents and staff regarding common health concerns and medications.
Provide training to staff as required/requested in order to best meet the needs of 8 residents residing in the group home.
Assess and respond to new/potential/ ongoing health issues or concerns for the 8 residents residing in the group home.
Administer medication to the 8 residents residing in the group home.
Complete (EHR) documentation in Avatar as required by RHD, funder/licensing/ accreditation bodies.
Attend monthly staff meetings via zoom
Required Experience
Preference 1 year of experience preferably in community, home-based settings or nursing home.
Required Education
Associate Degree Required
Required Qualifications
Licensed RN in Delaware
Valid Driver's License
