Job Description

JPMorgan Chase & Co. has an opening for a Data Visualization position in Wilmington, DE.


Analyze data to develop and automate reports or analysis that lead to actionable business insights. Support and manage BI reporting. Query and merge information from diverse data sources to create datasets and reports that enable informed business decisions. Work with other Analytics teams to summarize and synthesize data and present recommendations to the businesses in a clear and logical manner. Drive the set-up and production of dashboards measuring KPIs across LOBs within the firm. Drive innovation with LOB stakeholders during agile development sessions to create and improve dashboards leveraging new on-boarded data sources. Support ongoing development of existing platforms by partnering with the business to identify needs and define new data sets. Provide data support for technical testing and platforms launch. Identify unexplored data opportunities for the business to unlock and maximize the potential of digital data within the organization. Drive automation of new and existing processes. Keep abreast of analytics trends and provide recommendations for testing new and emerging technology. Support the ongoing technology evaluation process and proof of concept projects.


Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as Data Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related role. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree and two (2) years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of experience.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following skills and technologies: data visualization software: Qlik, Tableau, or Cognos; advanced analytics and data wrangling tool like Alteryx; relational databases utilizing SQL to pull and summarize large data-sets; report creation and ad-hoc analyses; big-data Hadoop concepts; reporting development and testing; developing data quality safeguards; and analyzing and interpreting BI datasets.
