Jefferson Street Group Home is part of RHD Delaware Group Homes that provides 24/7 assistance for adults with mental health diagnoses. Compassionate care and outstanding services to our eight residents (4 males and 4 females) are core values of this program.
The program is looking for full time, part-time/ on call Direct Support Professionals.
Located 2 minutes from Christiana Wilmington Campus Hospital.
Bachelor Degree is required for this position. $16.00 hourly
Evening 11:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M. (full time offers benefits medical, eye, dental and paid time off)
Every other weekend Saturday and Sunday Overnight Shift 11:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M. or 12:00 A.M. to 8:00 A.M.
Every other weekend Saturday and Sunday Day Shift 7:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M. and 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
On Call (As Needed): available
Overight shifts: 12:00 A.M. to 8:00 A.M. week days and weekends.
Evening shift: 4:00 P.M. to 12:00 A.M. week nights and weekends.
Day shifts 7:00 to 3:00 P.M. 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. weekends.
Provide supervision of individuals with the person centered ISP; supporting individuals to work towards their goals and other person centered support plans.
Complete required daily documentation and other assigned documentation in EHR (Avatar).
Become LLAM certified and administer medications to the residents.
Provide transportation to residents for medical appointments and community outings.
Support consumers in activites of daily living, meal prep, hygiene, laundry, meet goals on residents treatment plans, ect…
Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Attend monthly staff meetings currently via Zoom.
Run groups with residents.
Complete assigned monthly trainings (online).
Maintain annual TB/PPD, LLAM Training, and First Aid CPR (every 2 years)
Prior experience in social sevices, or human services preferred
Must have a degree for this position: Bachelor’s Degree in social sevices, human services preferred or degree with 5 years experience in mental health.
Valid Drivers license
Prior experience in Mental and Bevaoiral Health Group Home (Preferred)
Basic computer skills, email and internet.
