Job Description


The Image Technician assists in all cleaning activities thru 4 seasons at new, rebuilt and existing stores. Provide clean and inviting presence for all customers and employees.


+ Drive truck and trailer with a total combined weight of up to 15,000 GVWR to all GPM locations throughout all assigned states of operation.

+ Maintain compliance with all Federal, State and Local Motor Vehicle codes and regulations.

+ Execute exterior cleaning plan per schedule, to include, but not limited to:

+ Power wash sidewalk, including removing of any gum

+ Power wash the front and side of the buildings to remove dirt and any green

+ Wipe down the windows and seals

+ Remove cobwebs from soffit and soffit lights

+ Paint bollards and curbing as needed with yellow safety paint

+ Paint handicap markers with appropriate blue and white, use stencil

+ Paint parking lines as needed, with appropriate equipment and paint color

+ Clean outside trash cans inside and out, stock all amenities and clean amenity containers (make note of any that are in need of new tops, send picture to RSM)

+ Power wash islands and fueling pads, use degreaser as needed and be careful not to pressure wash the dispenser electronics – wipe dispenser down when complete

+ Power wash the dumpster area

+ Exterior building painted as assigned

+ Trimming of overhanging tree limbs to from around building

+ Repair fencing as needed

+ Any other tasks as needed

+ Execute interior cleaning plan per schedule:

+ Refresh painting of restrooms

+ Change out any lights that are out, sales floor and cooler

+ Repair any baseboard that is needed

+ Clean vents

+ Change out any stained ceiling tiles

+ Ensure that all lights are working on fountain/cappuccino and other beverage equipment

+ Remove all cobwebs from corners, etc., as needed

+ Repair any floor tiles that may need taken care of

+ Ensure that all emergency lights are working and “exit” signs are lit, if not replace as needed

+ Ensure that there are covers over the thermostats – if not, replace/add

+ Any other tasks as needed

+ Operate pressure washing equipment to include 3,500 psi pressure washing equipment to include: vacuum units, pressure hoses and pressure pumps.

+ Operate painting equipment to include, air-less gas powered spray equipment for lines, curbs, bumper posts, parking stalls, directional arrows and gas islands.

+ Apply chemical and microbial compounds as recommended by manufacturer, following directions for mixture and usage as prescribed on the bottle/container.

+ Perform field repairs to equipment as necessary.

+ Assist in the maintenance of all filtration systems ensuring no contaminate discharges.

+ Lift, push and/or carry up to at least 50 pounds.

+ Perform brand compliance tasks both inside and outside stores as described by RSM

+ Perform minor repairs to include drywall repairs, interior painting, tiles repairs, baseboard, cabinet repairs and genral maintenance activities, including changing of light bulbs and minor electrical tasks as adding occupancy sensors and re-lamping to LED (low voltage)

+ Minimize the customer impact and service experience during all tasks, understanding that our customers are the most important person in the store you are working in.

+ Carry out complex instructions with little or no supervision.

+ Perform various activities throughout winter to include but not limited to: cleaning and maintaining of food service and beverage equipment, test and repair all emergency lighting; and any other tasks assigned by management.

+ Clean up work area, leave it as good, or better, than what you found it in.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, speak and understand the English language in order to understand work orders and directions given by immediate supervisor. Ability to follow appropriate instructions on equipment and chemical usage. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: High School level skills, basic math skills to include reading of water and solid measurements, i.e. inches, ounces, pounds, etc. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Occasional lifting of moderate weight equipment, climbing of ladders, working and expecting on rooftops, working in physically demanding atmosphere, ability to stand, bend, work in a crouched position, mobile dexterity with hands and fingers and repetitive motions, ability to reach/work overhead, ability to work in extreme cold and extreme hot (0-100), including coolers, freezers and outside environments. Ability to work in confined spaces and with various smells in and around the work area.
