Staff Scientist, DMB
We are looking for a highly motivated Staff Scientist to join the in vitro ADME group within DMB. The position will primarily be lab based and responsible for conducting in vitro DMPK screening assays that guide projects in the discovery phase of Incyte's portfolio. Additional responsibilities may include lab maintenance, preparation of compound solutions, buffers etc. The successful candidate will enjoy a fast paced, collaborative, and highly dedicated scientific community. Must have effective at oral and written communications.
BS with 0-5 years relevant lab work experience
Demonstrated behaviors in learning new skills
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, oral/written communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work flexibly in a high paced environment
Conduct, analyze, interpret, and document (in electronic notebook) ADME studies (potential assays may be microsomal stability, protein binding, CYP inhibition or transporter studies) depending on skill set
Ensure that all studies are conducted in a timely manner while maintaining highest quality of data
Other tasks as assigned
Experience in aseptic technique to support cell culture/transporter assays a plus
Experience with assay automation (Hamilton robotic systems) is a plus
Hands-on experience with LC-MS (preferably Sciex platform) instrumentation, method development, sample analysis desired
Proficiency in applying software (Excel, GraphPad Prism, Analyst) for data analysis and graphics a plus
