ChristianaCare is seeking a Manager of the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO). This role will attract, develop, and retain a team of Enterprise Program and Project Managers as they manage the successful delivery of strategic enterprise programs and projects within scope, quality, time, and cost constraints that may be clearly defined or may require dynamic change management to deliver business value. The ideal candidate should bring a passion for project and change management, an unyielding customer focus, and a drive for successfully delivering complex projects that deliver business value.
This is a hybrid position - remote and in-office schedule. Will be discussed during the interview process.

Principal duties and responsibilities:
Attract, develop, and retain a team of Enterprise Program and Project Managers as they deliver on large scale enterprise programs and projects.
Create a cohesive, high-performing team of program/project managers and business analysts who partner with senior leaders in initiative conception through successful implementation.
Ensure successful delivery of enterprise programs and projects that drive business value and positively affect change while ensuring that project goals are accomplished and align with business objectives.
Develop and maintain effective lines of communication and relationships with initiative champions and senior leadership to ensure EPMO is delivering effective and efficient projects and services.
Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle and confer with project staff to outline work plan.
Monitor project activities, ensuring the currency, quality, and integrity of the information, while providing consistency in content and "look and feel" across the enterprise and alignment with portfolio management.
Serve as a change agent, driving the spread of best practices organization-wide while resolving issues and breaking down barriers along the way.
Effectively resource manage team capacity against a strategically aligned portfolio
Support the continued advancement of a Project Management Community of Practice and facilitate the development of a Center of Excellence.
Provide and presents organizational communication and education on policies and procedures related to the areas of responsibility. Ensures communications are consistent and coordinated.
Support the Corporate Director EPMO on execution of vision and facilitation of growth of project management maturity within the company.
Education and experience requirements:
10 or more years of project management experience
5 or more years of leadership and people management experience (preferred) with a precision focus on solving complex business problems for customers both external and internal.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, information systems, project management or related field; project management and/or general business management, or equivalent related experience.
PMP training and certification preferred, but not required.
