We have a great opportunity for an Associate Systems Analyst to join our Infrastructure team in Newark, DE! In this role, you will implement, maintain, and support IT and information systems to meet the business needs of Christiana Care Health Systems and scale as organizations grow. The successful candidate will analyze and create tests and develop specifications and requirements for ChristianaCare teams.
Associate Systems Analyst job responsibilities
Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot core business applications, including application servers, associated hardware, and endpoints.
Meet and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to establish project scope, system goals, and requirements
Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow
Manage the set-up and configuration of systems running AIX 7.1/7.2, CentOS 7/8, RedHat 7/8
Support & troubleshoot various AIX issues, including but not limited to JFS2 filesystems, memory, CPU & network performance.
Support & troubleshoot various Linux issues & projects, including but not limited to installs, upgrades, LVM Ext3 & 4 filesystems, memory, CPU & network performance.
Define and coordinate the execution of testing procedures, and develop test cases to serve the overall quality assurance process
Provide documentation of all processes and training as needed
Develop and implement maintenance procedures, monitor systems health, gather system statistics, and troubleshoot reported errors and alarms
Perform design, implementation, and upgrades of information systems to meet the business and user needs
Maintain and troubleshoot EMC SAN storage in an IBM AIX environment, including knowledge of EMC Powerpath multi-pathing software.
Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance
Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or equivalent experience
4-6 years' experience working with information technologies and systems analysis
Strong computer, hardware, software, and analytical skills
Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems
Experience with IBM VIO, IBM Power 7, 8 & 9 hardware, HMCs and Micro partitioning.
Experience with automated Linux patching and configuration management.
Experience with support of Oracle on Linux.
Experience with shell, perl & python scripting.
Experience with Interface Engines a plus.
Experience with VMware 6.5 or newer
Excellent analytical skills
This position requires on-call responsibility
