Senior Associate, Diversity Recruiting Project Manager
Summary
We are looking for a talented project manager to join our specialized Delivery Team and manage a broad range of high-profile projects and programmatic responsibilities that directly support our Capital One Racial Equity (CORE) commitments and horizontal special projects

As the Diversity Recruiting Project Manager, this individual will be responsible for leaning into special diversity recruiting initiatives and projects and partner with teams across Talent Acquisition in support of various key initiatives
General Responsibilities
Project Manager: Responsible for various project management activities, including deck building efforts, strategic articulation of work, meeting cadence coordination, status reporting, meeting deadlines, and coordinating work across various stakeholders in short-term, high-stakes settings
Proactively identifies risks and impediments and appropriately resolves using network of peers and formal channels (including escalation)
Utilizes feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc) to identify areas of opportunity and works with team to continuously improve
Providing additional team support as needed
What we're looking for:
A creative problem solver with the ability to connect teams, workstreams, and ideas
Ability to influence strategy and project direction (up to VP+, to peers, to more junior team members)
Ability to flex and iterate in a fast-paced environment to prioritize work while balancing multiple initiatives at once in fire-drill or routine settings
Exercises confidentiality and discretion, particularly with access to sensitive data
Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to tell a story using data and compile decks, status reports and other materials
Ability to identify and escalate issues and resolve team level dependencies
Results focused mindset with the ability to drive work forward in gray space with a key focus on quality
A team player who approaches assignments from a customer-centric perspective, while also understanding higher-level business and objectives
Ability to succeed on a matrixed team with multiple stakeholders across the organization
Comfortable and proven ability to influence and communicate with peers and leadership through differentiated relationship building
Ability to operate autonomously and apply sound judgment to decision making
Basic Qualifications:
At least 2 years of Project Management or Process Management experience or a combination of both
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
Experience as part of an Agile team
At least 2 years of experience with Agile Management Solutions (i.e. JIRA, VersionOne, or Rally)
Scrum Alliance CSM or CSP certification or PMI's Agile Certified Professional (ACP), PMP, Lean certification or Six Sigma certification, ,SAFe certified or experience (or other scaled agile frameworks)
Experience with Google Suite
