Provide administrative support to a variety of functional processes within the R&D Engineering Department. Specific activities will include data entry to the Engineering data base to create new part numbers and maintain existing part numbers and BOMs. All work is performed using established workflow procedures aimed at maintaining design integrity for new and existing products.


Typical tasks of the position include, but are not limited to


Review and process engineering documentation to establish and maintain material data from multiple data sources (PDM/ERP).
SolidWorks PDM/Vault Administration.
Development and maintenance of various Reports/Metrics.
Train and assist in troubleshooting with software applications. (SolidWorks/PDM, SAP)
Create and revise design engineering standards documentation.


The successful candidate will have a combination of knowledge, skills, and experience that would include the following


Experience with Product Data Management & bill-of-material maintenance.
Experience with software related to engineering, such as SolidWorks and PDM
Understanding of revision control & change management using PDM
Experience using MRP/ER System (SAP preferred).
Experience working with Engineering documentation such as ECR's/ECN's, DIR's, BOM's.
Experience using Microsoft applications (Word/Excel)
