What You’ll Contribute

As Senior Manager, Marketing you are tasked with defining and executing innovative marketing strategies focused on acquiring new to firm prospects and returning customers. This is a new role in our quickly growing Portfolio Growth Marketing team focused on Private Student Loan acquisition.

You will take an audience-based approach to lead the overall strategy and roadmap for acquisition, develop and implement test plans across marketing channels, and partner with key stakeholders across the organization – Product, Analytics, Creative, Finance, and Risk – to bring these strategies to life.

You must bring an entrepreneurial mindset and proven success developing data-driven plans that address a business problem/opportunity in addition to excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to make decisions and influence others to deliver business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

Description

• Marketing Strategy, Execution and Project Management

· Identifies new strategies and tactics to expand Prospect and Customer audiences

· Develops audience and segment strategies designed to drive conversions

· Partners with marketing channel owners to translate strategic initiatives into channel plans

· Leverages research, consumer insights, and data to develop cross-channel creative and messaging strategies

· Leads the optimization of marketing channel mix

· Understands competitive landscape and its impacts to the business

• Performance & Investment Management

· Translates analysis and performance reporting into business decisions

· Analyzes and reports on marketing campaigns, developing recommendations to improve performance against defined KPIs

· Ensures marketing efforts meet financial hurdles and efficiency metrics

· Investment optimization across marketing channels, inclusive of forecasting

+ Maintains project/channel budgets

· Secures and manages POs and invoices for programs

• Risk Management

· First line of defense for accuracy of marketing campaigns and collateral

· Ensures team is maintaining all required and relevant documentation as it relates to the compliance of marketing activities

· Develops (as needed) policy and procedure documentation

What You Have

Minimum: Indicate minimum education, skills and experience required.

• Bachelor’s Degree – Preferred area of study in Marketing or Business Administration

• 6+ years of direct-to-consumer marketing experience, developing and executing audience-based marketing strategies

• Experience leading cross-functional team to develop strategic plan that delivers business outcomes

• Experience in working in a multi-channel consumer products company with a demonstrated record of superior business and personal performance

• Experience in heavily regulated industry (FiServ/Pharma/etc.)

• Demonstrated experience managing a significant marketing budget that spans across multiple marketing channels

• Demonstrated ability to think creatively and work successfully in an ambiguous environment

• Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills suitable for all levels of management

• Proficiency in developing and presenting strategic plans and results to management teams

• Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with peers, leaders and business partners

• Excellent organizational and project management skills (attention to detail, project management, handling multiple priorities, managing tight timelines, comfortable with continuously changing priorities)

• Proficient user of all Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word
