Research/Sr. Research Scientist, DMB
The position of Research/Sr Research Scientist in the DMPK group at Incyte supports the small molecule bioanalysis of study samples from pharmacokinetic, toxicokinetic, PK-PD, and ADME studies using LC-MS/MS in a non-regulated setting.
Routine, de novo, small molecule, Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) bioanalytical method development of assays with sub-nanomolar LLOQs in blood-plasma, using protein precipitation, liquid-liquid, or SPE extraction techniques
Analysis of study samples from pharmacokinetic studies in preclinical species dosed discretely or in cassette with rapid turnaround and high quality for lead optimization, on a routine basis
Homogenization and analysis of biological tissues supporting pharmacology and ADME studies
Bioanalysis of samples from toxicokinetic studies ahead of GLP tox with high quality
Calculation of pharmacokinetic parameters using standard software packages
Good understanding of ADME concepts
Understanding of GLP concepts
Independently analyze, document, summarize and report data (orally, as needed)
Write/contribute to reports for regulatory filings, as needed
Peer review of study records
Provide training to junior scientists, as required
Experience with SCIEX Analyst software
Proficiency in Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Flexible in a fast-paced environment
BS/MS degree or equivalent in Life Sciences or related discipline
At least 7 years (BS) /5 years (MS) related DMPK experience in pharmaceutical companies or CROs.
Previous experience developing bioanalytical methodology for endogenous biomarkers
Experience with or knowledge of IDBS eWorkbook (or other ELN), Thermo Fisher Watson LIMS
Programming and/or operation of Hamilton STAR robotic liquid handler
