Direct Support Profess
Description/Job Summary
The mission of Resources for Human Development (RHD) is to provide caring, effective and innovative services that empower people of all abilities as they build better lives for themselves, their families and their communities. RHD's multi-faceted programs serve people with a variety of challenges that include intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness, substance abuse and homelessness.
Montrose Drive Group Home is part of RHD Delaware Group Homes that provides 24/7 assistance for adults with mental health diagnoses. Compassionate care and outstanding services to our eight residents are core values of this program.
The program is looking for part-time and on call Direct Support Professionals
Availability needed: Overnight 11pm-7pm
Evening 3pm-11pm
Weekeneds
Responsibilities/Duties
Provide supervision of individuals with the person centered ISP; supporting individuals to work towards their goals and other prcentered support plans.
Complete required daily documentation and other assigned documentation in EHR (Avatar).
Become LLAM certified and administer medication.
Providde transportation to residents for medical appointments and community outing.
Support consumers in activites of daily living, meal prep, hygiene.
Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Attend monthly staff meetings.
Run groups with consumers.
Complete assigned trainings.
Required Experience
Prio experince in social work/mental health is prefered
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree is required
Required Qualifications
Valid Drivers license
Prior experience in Mental and Bevaoiral Health Group Home (Preferred)
Basic computer skills, email and internet
Ability to complete basic clinical paperwork
Knowledge of quality documentation
Only individuals with completed Bachelor degree in related field will be consudered for the position

Montrose Group Home is all male facility who serves individuals with chronic mental illness.
