Working as a member of the Solenis Applications team, this position works with our channel partners to sell and service water treatment chemistries specifically for the food and beverage industry.

This position works with our partner to complete site technical audits and helps choose best in class water treatment chemistries.

This position provides troubleshooting of utility related (Boiler, Cooling and Wastewater) problems and engages in technical information development and dissemination of information.

The applications project manager will help lead and support the growth of our business in the food and beverage industry.

They will also develop and deliver detailed technical training so that our partners can grow the business in this focus area.

The Application Project Manager may also lead multiple projects focused on new technology growth. Ultimately, success will be measured through the company's expanding sales in Food and Beverage (through our partner) and profitability, while maintaining existing business.









This position is based in North America. Location of this position is flexible. Preferably near a major airport.

Must have a strong safety record

Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or other technical degree

Expertise in water treatment with a focus on the Food and Beverage Industry

Expertise in Process treatment such at pasteurizers, rotary, and hydrostatic cookers, can staining, can corrosion, disinfection, etc.

Expertise in administration of chemical programs for the treatment of cooling water and systems, boilers and wastewater

Experienced in troubleshooting cooling, boiler and wastewater systems in upset situations

Experience in pretreatment and membrane technologies is a plus

Ability to motivate others through indirect influence

Must be a skilled communicator (oral and written and visual)

Must be skilled at informing others as to project status and growth

Prior direct sales experience and business fundamentals

Expertise in marketing a plus

Strong work ethic

Travel is approximately 50%
