Capital One is looking for an experienced Cloud Control Risk Lead. This role will be responsible for maintaining & improving the cloud control lifecycle process, providing expertise on cloud services and security . The role is also responsible for identifying and driving opportunities for improvement such as process simplification, automation of tasks, and evaluation of new tools and technology that create value for the organization.

 

Candidates for this role should have expert knowledge and experience with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS. Candidates should be passionate about cybersecurity with an eye for risk reduction, continuous improvement and empathy for development teams. Candidates should have experience communicating the risk-value proposition of control compliance and non compliance to cross functional stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Establish and maintain goals & objectives for Cloud Control Process activities

 

Drive continuous improvement of Control Control processes & procedures

 

Design and implement controls to ensure Cloud Control Process compliance

 

Coordinate with other Cloud Safety leaders for prioritization & work handoffs

 

Identify opportunities for automation, evaluate new tools, and drive implementation of technology that creates value for the organization

 

Develop automated solutions using scripts and cloud-based server-less computing platforms

 

Design and implement status account solutions for the Cloud Control Portfolio

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

At least 7 years of experience in Risk Management

 

At least 2 years of experience with Cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Bachelor's, MBA or Master's degree

 

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate Certification

 

Risk certification (CRISC)

 

Process improvement certification (Six Sigma)

 

Security certification (CISA, CISSP, CCSP, or AWS Certified Security Specialty)
