Impactful opportunity is available at TA Instruments, a subsidiary of Waters Corporation. This position will be located in New Castle, DE. TA Instruments is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Principal Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing the Financials of our the Manufacturing Department and for making recommendations to improve Manufacturing efficiencies.

 

 

 

 

Typical tasks of the position include, but are not limited to

 

 

 

Responsible for monthly analysis of Manufacturing Financials and explaining variances to budget and forecast

Estimate the monthly forecast of the Manufacturing Financials and explain any variances to budget or previous forecasts.

Recommend programs to improve productivity and efficiency and reduce costs in the Manufacturing area.

Participate in the annual cost roll process and understand the impact on the Financials.

Other duties as assigned.

 

 

 

 

The successful candidate will have a combination of knowledge, skills, and experience that would include the following

 

 

 

Education:

Bachelor's degree in accounting with 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Financial Analysis and/or Accounting.

Experience:

Complete understanding and application of accounting principles, concepts, practices, and standards.

Problem solving skills in order to develop solutions to a variety of complex problems.

Analytical skills to collect, summarize and interpret financial results.

Strong interpersonal skills to effectively deal with employees within the group and outside Finance.

Ability to organize and prioritize work activities in order to meet deadlines. The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Self-starter able to work under general direction, plans and arranges own activities to accomplish objectives.

High degree of computer literacy with accounting enterprise software and Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Advanced Excel Office 365 and SAP experience a plus.
