The Senior Manager of Procurement Finance is an integral part of the Financial Planning and Analysis team. As the business partner to the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO), the incumbent will be accountable for planning, forecasting, analyzing, and explaining historical trends, variances to plan, and periodic changes to the forward-looking forecasts.

-Monthly Reporting - The Senior Manager of Procurement Finance will be responsible for a detailed understanding of the monthly financial results for the area of responsibility. This includes trend analysis, variance to plan/forecast, KPI management/tracking, and clear communication of drivers. Audiences include Senior Leaders, Pricing, Commercial, and the Board of Directors/Operating Committee.

-Analysis - The incumbent will provide advanced analytics to highlight areas of potential profit improvement. The goal of the analysis is to drive improvements in Solenis' cost structure

-Planning/forecasting - Partnering with the three main category sourcing leaders and the analytics Hub, the Senior Manager will periodically update the forecast and plan to reflect relevant market trends, cost reduction projects, etc. This also includes presentation of plan/forecast drivers to the Senior Leadership Team as needed. The incumbent will be required to challenge input assumptions to ensure accuracy of the periodic forecasts/plans. Forecasting of raw material cost inflation/deflation is a critical accountability for this role as it informs commercial action on pricing decisions.

-Project Management - Alongside the Procurement/Sourcing leaders, the incumbent will create cost out programs with the goal of generating incremental cost reductions each year. This includes creating detailed execution plans and the plant-material level to ensure projects deliver the targeted EBITDA improvements each year

-Leadership - The Senior Manager will have the support of the Analytics Hub, a high-powered India based analytical team, with resources supporting the three main categories of spend (Strategic Materials, Complex Materials, and Indirect).










B.S. in Accounting, Finance, or related degree. MBA preferred but not required.


7+ years of financial analysis in a global environment, strong preference for candidates with prior experience supporting large and complex Procurement/Sourcing teams. Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization effectively (visualization and articulation).


Expert in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Highly proficient in Tableau or other Business Intelligence tools
