Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

 

Learn new systems, re-design workflows, and train staff in the use and operation of HR systems. Prepare, support and maintain systems and processing procedures. Ensure HR data quality and integrity through internal audits, report writing, documentation of procedures and partnering with the HR Operations team. Support timely and accurate data to employees, managers and other key customers such as Payroll, Finance and Nursing Resources. Identify business requirements and operating problems, and define alternatives and the recommended solution in terms of organizational needs.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Conducts assigned studies, applying systems analysis methods and techniques, in order to identify where and how cost and time-effective improvements can be made or, as necessitated by internal or external regulations.

Maintain effective user relationships in order to provide a climate receptive to systems improvement and to enhance understanding of the users' business concerns. Participates on user project teams, audits installed system for conformance to objectives and makes applicable changes, conducts additional training and clarifies procedures to assure full user satisfaction.

Utilizes business knowledge to identify areas of systems improvement opportunity and submits proposals for studies that lead to recommendations of systems improvements.

Plans basic approach and method of analysis in order to determine limits of problem and establish course of study and timing.

Utilizes knowledge of the current HR System and programming tools to analyze the feasibility of report requests, develops efficient programming approaches and tests the results for supporting operational decision making and HR customer service objectives.

Utilize Workday system for implementing new applications requiring data management, screen building, table maintenance and report writing.

Resolve system problems: identifies, investigates alternative solutions, recommends enhancements/changes, and conducts necessary software application testing.

Train new employees in accessing authorized application of Workday or other HR systems.

Performs assigned work safely and ensures department compliance to safety rules and practices.

Performs other related duties as directed.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Two years of system analysis. Project lead, relational database support, understanding of programming languages, preferred.

Experience with Workday tools preferred.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
