Under the direct supervision of the Business Office Manager and clinical oversight of the Clinical Director, the this Certified Scheduling Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of Patient Care Operations Coordinators and Data Integrity Specialist to ensure delivery of Certified Services including, timely scheduling and communication of patient schedules under the direction of the Clinical Manager or Clinical Director. The CSS assures patient and interprofessional team satisfaction is achieved and is responsible for assuring coverage of clinical shifts for their geographic area of responsibility. The CSS is responsible for ensuring accurate data entries for patient demographics updates, emergency management documentation, visit codes, patient status (pending, admitted and discharged), dates of service and visit frequency orders are entered for all patients admitted to service.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Management of HomeHealth patient schedules in collaboration with clinicians, aides, and managers ensuring completed schedules a day, week or month in advance.
Ensuring all clinicians and aides are scheduled adequately to achieve budgeted productivity.
Coordinating and performing daily/weekly reports and reconciliation activities to ensure patient safety is maintained.
Builds professional relationships with patients, interdisciplinary team and interdepartmental caregivers to ensure excellent service deliver and caregiver satisfaction.
Maintains knowledge of regulatory requirements and agency policy pertaining to Admission and Discharge criteria and Timely Initiation of Care.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
HSD or GED required, associates degree preferred.
Scheduling and Home Health experience preferred
