Experience Design's Top of House (ToH) team, is on a mission to create an environment where all associates can thrive and set a new industry bar for experience quality. We're a team made up of user-focused Operations and Communications experts - and in Communications, we set the quality and standards for how associates hear, engage with, and share information.


About the Role:

We are currently seeking a Communications Managerwho can turn big ideas on a variety of business-critical topics into simple and engaging messages. We are looking for someone who knows their stuff about enterprise messaging and editorial calendar planning, can create internal content strategies to achieve specific goals, and be our go-to person for managing a variety of channels and distribution lists. And above all, a content chameleon who can draft and deliver impact, no matter what the channel or who the audience.

A strong writer who can adapt tone and personality to seamlessly shift between writing snackable copy, to team training decks, to deeply-contextual and long-form messages


A team player who pitches in to help the entire team be better, stronger, and adaptable as we sometimes respond to unexpected needs


A creative problem solver with the ability to connect teams, workstreams, and ideas through a compelling narrative


Someone who approaches assignments from an audience-perspective, while also understanding higher-level business objectives


A project management whiz; someone who can stay two-steps ahead of a Comms backlog, and execute consistent delivery without sacrificing quality


A mad scientist who's not afraid to test and learn on their own to discover all-new channels and opportunities for innovation


What you'll do:


Oversee all news-sharing communications that empower associates' ability to do their best work


Own and implement the cyclical communications around: Talent and Performance Management, workplace updates from Corporate Communications, organizational announcements, XD program launches, and ongoing Enterprise Services news


Work with XD Senior Leadership Team to create, manage, and execute communications strategies out to our department of around 650+ designers


Manage and own the editorial calendar for all XD Communicators and Top of House partners, providing recommendations for highest impact and flagging overlaps


Analyze existing content and communications processes, consistently identifying clear opportunities for improvement to quality and efficiency


Quickly jump on communication opportunities as they emerge, and align to leadership vision


Experiment with new content channels, tools, and methods to support our audience's needs (for example, using Google Calendar to keep every associate informed on key dates)


Consult on creative ideas and new approaches for inspiring connection and accountability across all of XD


Basic Qualifications:


At least 3 years experience in Internal or Marketing Communications


Preferred Qualifications:


At least 2 years in leadership consulting and strategy development


Experience supporting HR initiatives


Experience following brand and style guidelines


Strong copywriting experience


Proficiency with email delivery and content management systems (Poppulo preferred)
