Capital One Brand Creative is looking for an experienced, innovative, strategic leader who has managed and led brand strategy teams. You are evidence based in everything you do, and default to leading with insights, crunching key performance indicators, and can write objectives and key results (OKRs) effortlessly. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a Brand Strategy team whom you will include, empower, and inspire to build future brand strategy talent and leaders.You will interface with senior executives and leadership teams across the multi-faceted Commercial Bank, and should be able to build partnerships and influence key decisions.
What you'll do:
Manage Brand Strategy for Commercial Bank. This includes, but is not limited to developing: value propositions (both top of house & line of business), go to market strategies, competitor analysis deep dives, naming products, and fully integrated marketing
Consult and guide editorial strategy and practices for thought leadership campaigns, and partner with External Affairs & Brand Media to execute both sponsored content and mass ad campaigns
Seek out partnerships across Brand to drive key initiatives impacting Naming, Architecture, Positioning, Performance Marketing, and business to business (B2B) Brand Awareness
Write and edit creative briefs that include informed insights and radically clear and focused messaging, and partner closely with our Commercial Brand Creative team to ensure deliverables ladder back to our strategy
Optimize brand strategies informed by past results, market changes, and consumer insights

Bachelor's degree or military experience
At least 3 years of experience managing strategic teams in brand, marketing, or creative fields
Portfolio that includes produced work for large, integrated marketing campaigns.
5 or more years of experience as a Brand Strategy Manager
Experience at a large in-house creative or brand strategy team
Experience working with a Fortune 100 brand
