Job Description

The SOX CCAP Governance Team (SCG) provides oversight of the firmwide Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and CCAR CFO Attestation Program (CCAP). We maintain ownership of the JPMC SOX and CCAP Framework, including establishment of program requirements, timelines, milestones, and training. This role is specifically focused on administration of CCAP program. The role is also responsible for overseeing line of business and functional area execution of the SOX CCAP framework. We partner with Controllers and Control Managers across JPMC. We also partner closely with internal auditors, external auditors, and technology. Our team supports senior management responsibilities and attestations related to the material accuracy of SEC Forms 10K/Q, FR Y-9C, and FR Y-14, and the effectiveness of internal controls over Financial and Regulatory Reporting.

Role Responsibilities:

+ Program management, including oversight and monitoring of the firm wide CCAP program

+ Ownership of CCAR CFO Attestation Materiality Policy

+ Facilitate annual CCAP materiality assessment of schedules, line items, and data elements that are subject to enhanced governance

+ Analysis and reporting of CCAP control-related issues

+ Senior executive attestations and report packages supporting annual, quarterly and monthly filings

+ Act as a trusted advisor; partnering with the line of business / functional SOX CCAP Program Managers to ensure consistent and timely execution of the SOX CCAP program requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

+ Experience in financial reporting, accounting or audit preferred

+ Strong understanding of internal controls, particularly internal controls over Financial Reporting

+ Ability to effectively communicate findings and develop recommendations

+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels, influence key stakeholders, mediate differences and facilitate resolution of issues

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

+ Experience with Intelligent Solutions (Alteryx, Tableau, etc.) is helpful but not required
