Job Description

What does a great Team Lead, Certifications do?

You will deliver strategic direction and leadership for a team of Certification Analysts that are responsible for certifying and implementing/boarding new clients, products and functionality, and configuration modifications. You will be responsible for managing an organization of multiple, high performing technical associates, providing resource optimization, and for ensuring the advancement of a clients’ knowledge and their satisfaction with Fiserv products and services. You will provide oversight for converting clients onto Fiserv’s debit processing platform, while also supporting an array of products, features and functionality for existing clients. As a Team Lead, you will be a domain expert and provide support and guidance to the Certifications team for timely and quality project work.

In this role, you will:

+ Lead and manage a team including hiring, performance management and mentoring staff.

+ Partner with Product and other internal teams to develop efficient Certification procedures and processes.

+ Work directly with financial institutions and their vendors to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions.

+ Coordinate with other internal Fiserv groups on product and service delivery to meet/manage client expectations.

+ Identify continual improvement, focusing on efficiency gains via direct use of daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports.

+ Resolve issues expeditiously, identifying root cause and process/efficiency improvements.

+ Identify and seize opportunities to improve productivity/reduce costs.

+ Partner with Agile teams on the implementation schedule.

Basis qualifications for consideration:

+ High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

+ Minimum 1 year of experience leading a technical client facing testing (internal and external) team; leading and developing large high performing teams.

+ Experience with debit card processing and related systems, banking operational processes or other directly related experience.

Preferred qualifications for consideration:

+ Minimum 3-5 years of experience with debit card processing and related systems, banking operational processes or other directly related experience.

+ Experience in capacity management of high-volume business functions.
