DuPont Electronics & Imaging has an opening for an R&D Real Estate and Capital leader in the Chemical Mechanical Planarization Technology (CMPT) research and development department. This exciting position is focused on driving both the tactical day to day operations of CMPT R&D’s facilities in Newark (Bellevue site), DE. The individual will also be accountable for the deployment of CMPT/ACT R&D’s global capital. Along with the day to day responsibilities the individual would be responsible for assembling and maintaining a 5 years strategic capital and real estate plan.
+ The individual would be responsible for the day to day operations of the facilities and services for buildings 6 and 15 at the Newark Site.
+ The individual will have to respond to facility break downs within a 24-hour period. This includes, but is not limited to HVAC, wastewater, purified water etc.
+ The individual will work with lab managers and the building gate keepers to schedule maintenance.
+ The individual will work with the R&D leadership team to establish a 5-year facilities plan for the CMPT/ACT R&D Delaware valley operations.
+ Establishing and maintaining a 5-year capital plan for CMPT/ACT facilities in the Delaware valley
+ Establishing preventative maintenance schedules with the building 6 and 15 gate keepers to ensure continuous operations of CMPT/ACT Delaware valley operations.
+ Establish a 5-year footprint plan to ensure that CMPT/ACT has the needed office/ lab space needed for operation’s needs.
+ Liaison with Electronics and Industrial Leadership to secure internal and external funding to aid in the execution of CMPT/ACT’s facility’s needs.
+ Manage and deploy CMPT/ACT’s global capital management
+ Accountable for the deployment of CMPT/ACT capital by working with site engineering support for R&D projects. (Newark, Hsinchu, Hayward, ESL and Cheonan sites)
+ Establish and maintain CMPT/ACT’s 5-year capital plan.
+ Minimum of B.S. degree in Mechanical, Chemical or relevant engineering field required.
+ 5-10 years of manufacturing experience is required. Most preferred is experience in lab and facilities operations.
+ Six Sigma Green Belt Project Leader or higher Certification is desirable.
+ Experience working in a fast-paced industry and must be able to pivot quickly.
+ Candidate must demonstrate effective communication skills that will be required for working along a cross section of departments and a global organization.
