ChristianaCare is looking for a dedicated and highly motivated researcher at the level of Staff Scientist II. This scientist will integrate into the discovery team and will be expected to apply molecular biology and cellular techniques to contribute to and collaborate with the cross-functional team of cell and molecular biologists.
The Gene Editing Institute is expanding, particularly in its projects focused on expanding strategies for precise gene editing, The successful candidate is expected to participate in independent and supportive laboratory work under the guidance of a Principal Investigator. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to elucidating the mechanism of action of gene editing tools and strategies for editing the human genome supporting improved human health and ethical benefit.
Bachelor's degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, biological sciences or related field with 3 - 7 years of work experience or MS with 1 - 5 years of work experience
