We are looking for an R&D Manager to lead the team!
Agilent's Chemistries & Supplies Division (CSD) is a dynamic and continually growing area of opportunity and a substantial part of Agilent's broader portfolio & business. The CSD Research & Development Team is continuing to design new & exciting features in support of Agilent's product portfolio to deliver the premier workflow solutions experience for our customers. Our efforts differentiate Agilent from its competitors in the eyes of our customers and is effectively positioning us as the laboratory solutions partner for customers through strong preference for Agilent's instruments, systems, chemistries, supplies & services.
In this role, you will lead a global team responsible for the success of programs through unique & differentiated chemistries & supplies hardware designs. These unique designs allow Agilent to successfully partner with and support our customers in our target markets by improving the performance of analytical systems, applications & methods.
Position responsibilities include:
Lead cross site design engineering team to achieve timely introduction of new products consistent with the CSD strategic plan
Lead the development of new product plans, roadmaps, and projects.
Partner closely with the business product managers to successfully translate strategic plans into tactics for defined initiatives and projects.
Lead the design of development projects/initiatives and assign, in partnership with project managers, appropriate resources required to complete NPI projects on time.
Work with Order Fulfillment/Supply chain to ensure a smooth handover and product scale up from product development to manufacturing.
Work closely with product marketing and technical marketing to lead cross-product compatibility and limitations.
Actively work with CSD functional teams to establish project objectives (quality, cost, schedule, and features) including managing change to these items.
Develop strategic engineering functional plans to continuously improve organization and meet future business needs.
