Kforce has a client that is seeking an AML Compliance Analyst in Newark, DE.Key Tasks: * Interpretation of AML Risk standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures * AML Compliance Analyst will make risk-based determination through Quality Analysis whether alerts were properly cleared by Compliance Alerts Analysts * Ensure Alert data has been accurately collected and documented, including but not limited to: Investigations data, Suspicious Activity Reports (SARS) & Currency Transaction Reports (CTR), Know Your Customer (KYC) information, any relevant account and transaction data and all required information which would assist in an investigation * Conduct periodic internal customer and accounts reviews to identify potential suspicious activity * AML Compliance Analysts collect and document alert, case or Suspicious Activity Report (-SAR-) history; Customer background and Know Your Customer (-KYC-) information; Relevant account and transaction data; Plus any other required information to assist in the investigation * Review and analyze underlying information gathered to assess reasonable cause to close or escalate an alert to SAR; Prepare SARs for filing with FinCEN when applicable * Document and summarize findings including supporting information, analysis, and rationale for disposition within the case management system in a timely manner * AML Compliance Analysts build relationships with the Review and QA groups, while also effectively communicate and transfer information for investigations * Function as a key contributor and demonstrate knowledge of money laundering and terrorist financing typologies * Participate in individual and department goal development and execute on tactical strategies for goal attainment * Strong research, analytical and comprehension skills, with ability to analyze large amounts of data * Candidates must have experience in the duties listed to qualify for this role * Any education or related certifications are a plus Can you picture yourself working for one of America’s Ideal Employers?
