JPMorgan Chase & Co. has an opening for a Software Engineer position in Wilmington, DE.
Develop and deploy applications. Develop unit test cases and test clients. Develop health checks and security monitors to track application health in production. Build automated regression test case suite. Provide production support, triage, and resolve production issues. Develop interactive web pages. Support peer reviews. Mentor, train, and develop less experienced developers. Responsible for full lifecycle development of applications from interface design to implementation.
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as Software/Application Developer, Architecture Specialist, IT Consultant, Technical Associate, or related role. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree and three (3) years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of experience.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following skills and technologies: developing UI and RESTful based Spring Web Services; Spring Framework, including: Spring MVC, spring integration, spring data, jdbcTemplate and spring REST; SpringBoot; Cloud Native applications, Amazon Web Services, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry; configuring Continuous Development and Continuous Deployment pipelines using Jenkins; agile activities, including sprint planning and user story reviews; Junit and Mockito frameworks; Cucumber and Selenium; Java; REST; Angular; Microservices; Oracle Database; Network protocols, including: FTP, SFTP, FTPS, and SNMP; ActiveMQ; and CORBA.
