Job Summary (Primary function)
At Incyte, we aspire to create sustainable access to our medicines for patients around the world. To advance this aspiration, we have created a dedicated business unit (REALM) focused on forming and leading partnerships with companies outside of our core markets. Through these partnerships, Incyte will deliver sustainable access and value to patients in over 20 additional countries whilst ensuring that responsibilities which accompany product commercialization are appropriately managed.
Partner Directors for REALM have the primary responsibility for cultivating and leading successful partnerships and creating sustainable access for patients in specific geographies. The Partner Director leads partnership communications, planning, performance management, and international commercialization leadership in support of creating value for Incyte, our partners, patients, and local stakeholders.
Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)
* Holds primary responsibility for cultivating successful partnerships in certain geographies
* Delivers strategic guidelines and support to enable optimal partnership performance
* Ensures strategic and operational plans are aligned and agreed with partners
* Leads Operational and Strategic committee meetings between Incyte and its partners
* Supports the commercialization of Incyte products in partnership geographies
* Proactively engages Incyte cross-functional colleagues to advance partnership initiatives
* Leads partner negotiations & issues resolution
Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)
* >10 years experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
* Bachelor's Degree in Business or Science (MBA preferred)
* International exposure/experience strongly preferred
* Key Account Management leadership experience preferred
* Excellent communication & influencing skills
* Fluency in English and additional languages is preferred
