Business Analyst

Job Profile Summary

CAI is seeking business analysts to document the current state (AS-IS), future state (TO_BE), of the client's system, and research other potential solutions and make a recommendation.The work is done onsite in DE.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Document the current state (AS-IS), future state (TO_BE), of the client's system
  • Must research other potential solutions and make a recommendations
  • Conduct Facilitated Workshops for requirements analysis.
  • Create workflows using formal notation such as the Business Process Modeling Notation
  • Engage in formal requirements gathering methodologies.
  • Develop Business Requirements - project initiation document, what the needed achievements will be, and the quality measures.
  • Develop Functional requirements - describe what the system, process, or product/service must do in order to fulfill the business requirements.
  • Develop User (stakeholder) requirements -
  • Develop Quality-of-service (non-functional) requirements - are requirements that do not perform a specific function for the business requirement but are needed to support the functionality. For example: performance, scalability, quality of service (QoS), security and usability.
  • Create Requirements Traceability Matrix - a cross matrix for recording the requirements through each stage of the requirements gathering process.
  • Attend meetings with the team


Qualifications
  • Capable of conducting Facilitated Workshops for requirements analysis.
  • Capable of creating workflows using formal notation such as the Business Process Modeling Notation
  • Knowledge of formal requirements gathering methodologies.
  • Capable of developing Business Requirements - project initiation document, what the needed achievements will be, and the quality measures.
