Faculty Position in Instruction – Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering
The Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Delaware invites applications for a full-time, continuing-track faculty position with a focus on curriculum development in our capstone design and laboratory experiences and teaching related to all aspects of the undergraduate major. The appointment can be made at any rank commensurate with accomplishments.
REQUIREMENTS:Ph.D. or equivalent in chemical engineering or a related field.
DUTIES:The successful candidate will be expected to develop a vigorous and recognized educational presence; lead and evolve the curriculum and the structure of our undergraduate laboratory and design courses; teach and advise students at the undergraduate level; and participate in and contribute to the departmental and larger professional community. We seek candidates, preferably with industry experience, whose high quality teaching, advising and service will contribute to the continued improvement of our department’s national standing and visibility.
