ChristianaCare is looking to employ a full time BC/BE Advanced Heart Failure Physician to provide clinical expertise and care for our established, successful Advanced Heart Failure program. ChristianaCare is one of the largest providers of Heart Failure care in the nation with over 1500 admissions annually. U.S. News & World Report ranks Christiana Care No. 1 in Delaware and No. 3 among the 96 hospitals in the entire Philadelphia region. This position will support the continued growth of our busy practice and join a dedicated team of full-time Advanced Heart Failure Physicians and Nurse Practitioners. The position includes providing care as part of the comprehensive Advanced Heart Failure program, which includes inpatient, and outpatient care, as well as our VAD program and teaching our Heart Failure Fellow.
Qualified candidates will possess MD/DO degree from an accredited institution and Board certification/eligibility in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant and participate in efforts to support the health system goals for Disease Specific Joint Commission Certifications in Heart Failure and VAD and projects aimed at improving the quality of care and outcomes for patients in our community.
